NOVEMBER 2024: VCF ACADEMY PROGRAMS
Check out all the activities scheduled for this month
The VCF Academy is in a new phase of the season where all the youth teams are playing their respective friendly matches. Thus, the Academy is ensuring all the matches and training sessions go ahead in the safest possible way with new protocol for non-professional competitions in accordance with the agreement reached between the High Council for Sports and The Spanish Sports Federations.
Regarding training sessions the players check in for training in training gear and for friendly matches at the Cuidad Deportiva or those taking place away from our facilities.
For the matches that must be played at the Cuidad Deportiva, the protocols begin at the access gates and only coaching staffs, players, and, people who are on the list issued beforehand by the away side can access the Ciudad Deportiva.
Followed by the subsequent temperature measurement, the teams are ushered onto the pitch all members are required to wear masks at all times on the premises except for the footballer upon stepping out onto the field of play.
Every player must come in the playing kit and ready to play. Social distancing is observed between the two dugouts and at half-time both sides remain on the pitch.
Players bring with them their own water bottles for water breaks and half-time breaks. All players must get changed and shower at home at the end of the game.
For away matches every player travels through their own means except for the Academy living players who are transferred in club vehicles.
These are new and challenging times for football and we must make an effort at every level to adapt to this new situation.
